The aim of the Society is to celebrate, publicise and study all aspects of the natural world on a wide radius of Bishop's Stortford, including the River Stort Valley and Hatfield Forest.

Currently, due to coronavirus all volunteer work parties, activities, events and field visits are cancelled until further notice.  The Society will be holding a series of presentations on Zoom during the autumn and winter months. Details to follow.

We hold a Winter Programme of talks at our Hatfield Forest base as 'Forest Nature' and a Summer Programme of walks, visits and surveys to local areas of wildlife interest.
